Our Mission
To improve health outcomes and advance health equity by working alongside communities to co-create and implement evidence-informed public health solutions through preventive healthcare, health education, strategic partnerships, advocacy and community-led action, while strengthening health systems and expanding access to quality services.

Inclusion & Dignity
We respect diversity and work to create safe, inclusive environments where people are treated with dignity.
Innovation & Learning
We encourage practical innovation, adaptation and continuous learning to improve our work.
The Challenge We Address
Across many communities in Africa, preventable health challenges continue to be shaped by unequal access to healthcare, limited health information, social and economic barriers, stigma, weak referral pathways and gaps in community participation.
Young people, women and other underserved populations can face additional barriers to accessing timely, appropriate and trusted health services.
At the same time, communities often have valuable knowledge, networks and local leadership that can contribute to better health outcomes when they are meaningfully involved in designing and implementing solutions.
Health Access
Reducing barriers to preventive and essential healthcare services.
Health Literacy
Improving access to accurate, trusted and understandable health information.
Youth & Women
Creating opportunities for participation, leadership and empowerment.
Mental Wellbeing
Addressing mental health awareness, stigma and psychosocial wellbeing.
Social Inclusion
Responding to exclusion, inequality and vulnerability within communities.
Climate & Health
Building awareness and resilience around environmental and climate-related health risks.
Our Theory of Change
We believe sustainable improvements in health occur when communities are meaningfully involved in identifying challenges, shaping solutions and taking action.
Community Needs
Communities identify health challenges, barriers and priorities through engagement, listening and evidence.
Community-Led Action
We work with communities and partners to co-create practical, evidence-informed interventions.
Short-Term Outcomes
Improved knowledge, greater awareness, increased participation and stronger connections to health services.
Intermediate Outcomes
Stronger referral pathways, improved health-seeking behaviour, increased community capacity and more responsive health systems.
Improved health outcomes, greater health equity and stronger, more resilient communities.
Contributing to our vision of an Africa where everyone has equitable access to quality healthcare, trusted health information and resilient health systems.
