On Monday 27 July 2026, EquiBridge successfully implemented a Hepatitis and HIV Awareness, Counselling and Free Screening Outreach at Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic. The programme combined health education, confidential counselling and free screening, directly benefiting more than 138 students.
Key achievements included two comprehensive awareness sessions, over 138 free Hepatitis screenings and over 138 free HIV screenings, improved understanding of prevention, increased willingness to know one’s health status, and reduced misconceptions and stigma associated with testing.
